Carrier Rooftop Unit Replacement — Syosset Office Building
An aging packaged rooftop unit at a Syosset office building had reached the end of its service life. Replacing it meant lifting the old unit clear of the roof and setting a new Carrier package in its place without disrupting the tenants below.
Our crew staged the work around a single crane pick. The existing unit was disconnected, rigged and lifted off the curb; the replacement was flown in, set, and tied back into the existing curb, ductwork, power and controls the same day.
Curb-mounted replacements like this one are among the most common commercial jobs we handle. The critical work happens before the crane arrives — verifying curb dimensions, confirming electrical capacity, and planning the lift path so the building keeps running.
