Walk-In Cooler & Freezer Installation
A full walk-in cooler and freezer build — insulated panel envelope, refrigeration equipment, evaporators, electrical and controls, through to a finished, racked and operating cold storage space.
Commercial refrigeration is a different discipline from comfort cooling. The box has to hold temperature continuously with product inside and doors opening all day; the panel envelope and vapor barrier matter as much as the equipment; and defrost, drainage and controls have to be right or the room will ice up and the product will be at risk.
The work shown here covers the sequence from insulated panel erection and evaporator mounting through electrical and control wiring to the completed room in service — including the freezer doors, the pallet racking, and the aisle lighting.
We install and service refrigeration for supermarkets, grocery stores, restaurants and food-industry facilities across the New York metro area.
